Case and Cost Information

The second tab of the watch data input control is for the case description and watch cost information.

Most fields can be filled out by using the drop down lists provided. As with most drop down lists, you will notice that the second column in the drop down lists for case description are designed to help you make the correct choice for your case description.

Some collectors prefer to use abbreviations in their watch descriptions. To assist with providing correct abbreviations, a case description calculator is provided. Click on the button next to the material field to access the description calculator.

The 'Material' and 'Configuration' drop down lists are pre-filled for you and can be edited using the 'Utility' form provided for editing/adding additional choices. The 'Manufacturer' drop down list contains only a couple manufacturers to start you out.. Currently there are no definitive books on case manufacturers so you will have to build this list as you see fit. When you use the case description calculator, you will get abbreviations for your case description. Click on the <Back to 'Case and Cost'> command button to copy these abbreviations to the fields on the 'Case and Cost' tab fields. The case description is visible above the data fields and displays the data that will be visible in your reports.
